Warranty:
All commissioned guitars carry a full warranty against defects in
workmanship for the practicing career of the luthier. The warranty
does not apply to defects in material, damages from handling,
enviromental changes or improper storage.
Owner is responsible for transportation of instrument to Greeneville,
TN. All returns must have written authorization from Metcalf guitars
prior to shipping.
Prices:
STANDARD guitars have a starting price of $1800.00. Options and
upgrades will be at cost/materials.
Don't wait, base price subject to change (and frequently does) as the demand and back-log grows. NOTICE: Effective Jan. 1, 2009 the base price will be $2500 and will include your choice of a Stage 3 ACCESS or TKL Thermoplastic case.

At Metcalf guitars we belive that each piece of wood is different and
requires the skill and judgement of a craftsman to optimize it's potential.
Big shops run every soundboard the same thickness, all top braces are
cut on a "cookie-cutter" CNC machine and are glued together on an
assembly line. We take the time to analyze each piece and build to the
utmost potential of the components as a whole.
Our soundboard bracing is based on the vintage forward shift X brace using the stiffest and lightest spruce available. Braces are lightly
scalloped to enhance tone yet still retain the desired power, punch and
sustain.
